Hi,

My trial version of CandyBar 2.0.1 wont auto update to the latest version that works with the newly released 10.3.7. Other people can use CandyBar with this OS X update.

I tried uninstalling CandyBar to see if that worked. It didn't.

Can someone explain to me what might be wrong ?

I /am/ going to buy CandyBar when I get my creditcard back from the bank. Just so you know.

CandyBar won't auto update because there is no update for it to download. Give them a chance... 10.3.7 was just released yesterday. My version of CandyBar is working fine even though it tells me it is not qualified to work with the new update.

yea my version also flipped out and wanted me to update, however it also reset some of my icons for my drives, and i had to manually set them up again. But since then i have had 0 problems with 10.3.7. I'm hearing some people are getting huge speed increases with safari with the new update. While it seems just a bit snappier i don't see a HUGE difference.

Becauase Candybar messes with system icons, they have a check in their software. Everytime apple releases an update they need to release a new revision, however 9 times out of 10 the current release of candybar is fine.

The one thing I would do, is when applying an update to OSX is to turn off all theming and reset the icons back to there default. I'd had an issue once when I didn't and my candybar backed up icons failed.
