Trying to download WMV clips, and when it reaches 100%, it just stalls.

Any ideas?

Depends on what your settings are, it might be attempting to bring up a dialogue asking your where to save, or launching the file with the appropriate helper app.

Unfortunately, I've found that the best way to resolve Firefox problems is to create a new profile and re-import bookmarks etc.

Do you mean reinstall? I've never heard the term "new profile" applied to FF, but I'm no trchie, either...

Your settings and bookmarks, etc. are stored in your "profile," which is just a folder containing files. It's in ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox.
