itunes 4.7 (OS X10.3.7)and MP3 burning???

Hey All
I just tried burning a CD using MP3 files, doesn't work just kicks CD out... Last time I burned anything was when I was at 10.3.6 and iTunes 4 whatever(getting old can't remember what it was before update)... My problem is all my Music is MP3's...

Just to cover our bases:
1. It normally kicks whatever CD is in there out. Did you try putting it back in?
2. Are you you absolutely sure there's nothing on the CD? I've accidentally stuck burn CDs back on my stack before.

Yea,I just used Toast... It took the same CD, so I know that wasn't the problem.
Oh Well I guess I'll jst have to keep using Toast...

One point was that if you have a burnable CD-R in the drive when you click "burn", it will eject that disc and ask you to insert a burnable disc, so you might get the impression it's refusing your disc even though it's just clearing the drive.
If this is in fact the case, click "Burn" first, and only insert the CD-R when prompted by iTunes to do so.

I wish iTunes was smart enough to realize the disk is blank first... or at least to prompt for confirmation.
