Will the Logithec QuickCam Communicate work with Skype and iChat?

Can I use the microphone to talk whit friends who only have a microphone? Not sending pictures. Use it just like it is a usb-microphone.

I have tested that the the Logithec QuickCam can work with skype(mac os x),

but not very sure about the situation on work with ichat..

QuickCam Communicate STX, doesn't work with IOXperts driver, iChatUSBCam or any other thing I've tried it in..
