Hello guys!

I have an iBook G3 with CD-drive. I wanted to watch/burn DVDs, so I bought a LaCie external DVD-programmer. It works perfect, but my only problem is finding a good, free DVD-player for the iBook.

When I try to use Apples DVD Player, I get an error because it dont think my computer has a DVD-drive. When I use VLC, I cant get the subtitles to work, and MPlayer doesent work with DVDs at all...

VLC is still my nr. one choise, but it is not perfect because of the subtitles.

Can anyone help me finding a good, free DVD-player, I can use in Jaguar?

You could also use something like Mac the Ripper to rip all the files to your hard drive and watch the movie that way. Although I'm unsure of how apps like VLC use subtitles on ripped movies.

Thanks, but that program does not run in Panther :-(

Any other suggestions?
