I am looking for a way to split a 300+ page file into individual PDF pages, with searchable text kept intact. I looked around and it seems that there are expensive commercial options, but I only need to do this once (or a few times, maybe). Are there any freeware or applescript ways to do this?

print the selected pages as pdf? not sure how this would affect searchability, but it's worth a try.

Yeah, the pdf's that result are searchable. The problem is, my document is 316 pages and I want 316 PDF files, one for each page. I could sit there and print to PDF 316 times, but that is what I am trying to avoid . . . .

[This is so that I can import them into DevonThink. Splitting them up will allow more specific search results]
