Hi

I'm hosting a site, the domain name of which is pointed using frames. I'm not sure about how all this works, but the site itself doesn't work in Safari. I've been advised that this is due to the nature of the domain pointing, but this is out of my hands.

Most users will access it using IE so I'm not too worried, but it does seem odd. The first page is loaded, but that's it.

The site is here -

www.map-project.co.uk

Any thoughts?

Thanks

given that www.forwarded-frame.com works the problem is on your end, not in safari

I assumed it was a Safari issue because the site is fine in other browsers.

Safari does have some problems with frame handling, but your site seems to work fine when I try it. What version of Safari are you using?
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

I'm on 1.2.4

The page loads, but I can't access anything beyond the index page. I got this response from the 34sp.com (with whom I host the site) forum:

"It's the frame-based cloaking that's throwing Safari. If you go to map.34sp.com, it works fine.

I suspect that the problem is with this line:
<FRAME name=_top src="http://map.34sp.com/index.html">

You should call the frame something other than '_top', which is a name with special meaning."

Unfortunately, I don't own the domain name. It's being repointed by the original designer in, I'm told, the only way he can. I don't quite understand all this side of things, so if anyone has an advice, it'd be really useful.

The site's audience are largely Windows/IE folk, so this isn't a huge issue. But it's odd...
