I like the AutoFill feature in Safari a lot... saves me tons of time when filling out forms. It seems like a glaring security flaw, to me, however, that it remembers credit card numbers. Would anybody want their credit card saved so anybody on the computer could use it? Especially parents whose kids use the computer, or any laptop owner. It's not like it would be hard for apple to implement... just don't save 16 digit numbers in AutoFill. Am I crazy for thinking this is a major oversight?

I don't ever recall Safari remembering my CC info. The sites I buy stuff from do, but they do that on their own. Anyway, I suppose if it's doing it to you, it is a a potential risk, though you could just turn off "Other forms" under "AutoFill" in Safari's preferences.

I've experienced previous versions of Safari remembering my credit card number, although I don't recall it ever happening in v1.2 (even with the same sites).

if i click on a credit card field and press the down arrow, it comes up with a list of numbers i've typed in before. that's on Safari 1.2.4. I haven't checked it on every site i've ordered from, but it does it on at least a couple.

This has just happened to me for the first time. The only site I have seen it was when I was paying for the new version of OmniOutliner.
I hope it will be addressed. Safari is not as secure as I had thought.
