Illustrator & Photoshop font weirdness

Since upgrading to OS 10.3.7 I've noticed that at times not all my fonts will load in Illustrator and Photoshop, but upon quiting and relaunching they appear.

I'm using Illustrator 10.0.3 and PS 7.0.1

Anyone else experience this and have any solutions?
