Is it normal for computer to go back to sleep after it woke up from sleep and the lockup screen prompting to enter user password is displayed? I have a program set to record a show in the morning at 5 am (Audiohijack) and the computer wakes up for that. But then it goes back to sleep after exactly 30 sec. Is this natural? Because it does wake up and if I don't touch a key or enter the password it goes right back to sleep. As a result, my show never gets recorded. Therefore, I have to leave the computer on all night just for that show to record. Any help is appreciated.

P.S. I don't think AudioHijack is the problem since this can be duplicated just by sleeping the Powerbook and then waking it up from sleep with a mouse click or key and then not doing anything after being prompted to enter password

If you haven't already... deselect that option to require password in the morning when you're asleep.. I have not answer to WHY it does it just that is seems like the logical thing to do is to deselect that option --- you're asleep i presume so you can't type in a password anyway.

Have I TOTALLY misunderstood your post ?

Well, that WOULD be a logical option except I would have to always select and deselect it unless I use a MACRO or a script or something. The thing is I like that option since I leave my computer on and leave it -- I don't want other people to look at my stuff. Am I making myself clear?
