I used MactheRipper to rip a DVD (not full rip), then went into popcorn and selected the VIDEO_TS folder, but it says it 'cannot handle the contents of the folder'.

Do you have to rip them a specific way with mactheripper?

Had a similar problem and posted a question to the forum
here but was not able to find a fix.

I have only been successful in getting a working copy using "Full Disc Extraction" in MTR. If you just want the main feature of the DVD, Popcorn will allow you to select and burn the main feature only but there is no way to know if, for instance, you will get the wide screen or full screen version of a movie ... Still, you get an excellent copy of the DVD.
