When clicking on a m3u file iTunes adds the station to the Library source list why doesn't it add it to the Radio source list. I doesn't even seem like I can drag and drop it there. Is there anyway to do this so I can keep things organized? I'd prefer not to make another playlist.

You can't, but you can do this (yes, it still involves creating a new playlist):

I have a smart playlist called "•Radio•", with any of "Kind contains 'Playlist URL'" and "Kind contains 'MPEG audio stream'" as my filter. This playlist then includes only the streams that I actually listen to, whether they're in the "Radio" source or not.
