Can anyone who already got iLife 05 answer this? Can we put albums inside another album?

Thanks!

according to the apple website, ilife 05 does indeed support hierachical albums.
-> 20" iMac Core Duo, 1GB RAM, lame superdrive that burns at 2x
-> MacBook Pro 2GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM
-> MacBook 2.16GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM

Interesting... the website indeed uses the word "folder". I thought it's hierarchical "albums"... a bit confusing to me.

It's not albums within albums. It's folders to organize your albums. So if you have a bunch of birthday albums, you could make a folder called "Birthdays" and put all the albums in.

Will we be allowed to have the same photo inside different albums? (We can put the same song into different playlists in itunes!) THAT would be a huge improvement/feature.

Also -- Haven't found this in the stuff online, but will iphoto 5 FINALLY allow you to download just some of your images, instead of all? That is a feature that shold have been part of the original.

You've always been able to do this (IIRC). At any rate you can in iPhoto 4.

Sheesh, call me stupid. I know it was not do-able earlier and obviously never checked to see if the situation changed with '4.' This will hugely change how I view iphoto, which is with quite a bit of ambivalence. I've made it my default image browser, etc., for now but am still not with it 100 percent.

Just tried it, it works! This is what I get for remembering features from previous versions and not failing to check out "new and improved" features.

I feel like reorganizing my whole collection, but as iLife '05 will be here in 2 days, I think I'm going to wait.

Everyone is overlooking the feature that I was waiting for - the search. yes, in iphoto 4 there is no basic search, you have to make a smart album.

How many albums can there be, and how many subfolders can there be in each album? I could see myself having maybe hundreds of subfolders per album. Can there be subfolders in subfolders?

eg.
Code:
Album 2004 -- Sarah's pics -- Piano recital - Playing - Accepting award Soccer game -- Grant's pics -- Piano recital hockey game - Locker room - Face off - Pizza after the game -- Montreal zoo -- Mammals - Rhino - Elephant - Mom - Baby - Orangutan - Throwing food - Climbing rope -- Reptiles Album 2005 -- Sarah's pics -- Piano recital - Playing - Accepting award Ballet -- Grant's pics -- Piano recital hockey game - Locker room - Face off - Zamboni -- Montreal zoo -- Mammals - Rhino - Giraffe - Mom - Baby - Spider monkey - Throwing tantrum - Grooming -- Reptiles - Alligator - Eating mouse - Iguana - Smiling for camera
And how many keywords can there be?
