Hi,

I am trying to use CVS from within JBuilder, but it requires that a newer version of CVS be installed. Any tips on how I should go about doing that?

I guess Fink is one possible route, but but I'd prefer not to use it since it seems to cause havoc with X11.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hm.

It seems as soon as I RTFM it's actually just as easy to do as I didn't believe it could be.

Just in case anyone searches for this thread in the future with a similar request:

1. Download the package from https://ccvs.cvshome.org/servlets/Pr...d&dlID=115
2. From terminal: ./configure
3. From terminal: make (optional?)
4. From terminal: sudo make install
5. Enter administrator password.
6. There is no step three- er, six!
