i asked my statistics teacher if i could just use my laptop in class instead of buying an 80 dollar calculator, that i am only going to use one semester. He said sure.

so... what statistics applications are there? the teacher recommended the class buy the T-83

OMG, i just downloaded that calc+ =) and Graphing Calculator... heh, what macnn freak dosent have that one.

i dont think that GC is meant for stats though. i will give it a shot later on though.

I'm not sure if this might work for what you're needing to do, but Apple's standard Calculator app has some pretty advanced stuff, too.

Launch it and click View ->Advanced from the menu bar to see more functionality.

i need it for my stats class, the advance features of apples awsome icalc dont seem to be enough, but i have not ruled it out all the way yet.

im gathering ideas. =)
