Hold down the option key when launching iPhoto, and you will be able to Choose a library or create new ones

Cool... this works with iPhoto 4 as well. It asks whether you want to create a new library of find one.

Yeah, now if they could just get it to let us select a 'Default Library' so you don't have to go back and forth at every startup.

Hmmm. It's a bit disconcerting that it phrases it like it's an error. Can one use this to view heaps of photos from a CD without copying them to the hard drive, i.e. not a CD burnt from iPhoto? I don't think you can do that otherwise... viewing by screensaver seems to me the best way.

And via screensaver is the ONLY way to view photos randomly. (and thats not very random either)

Using [url=http://nofences.net/iphotoBuddy/}iPhoto Buddy{/url], I believe you can mount Libraries stored on Network volumes and Media…just burn a library to a CD and that should do it.

In fact, I am suprised iPB doesn't provided a default/restore selection.
