Hi,

As above, running Mail 1.3.9 (v619) on 10.3.7 (on the machine listed below in my sig).

A couple of days ago, when I tried to forward an email, I typed my bit in and clicked on forward, the client then crashed and I got would you like to send a report to Apple ?

I clicked yes and sent off the crash report. I then ran fsck -y and repaired permissions (no errors or permission issues showed up). That didn't fix the problem.

I then thought maybe it's that email I am trying to forward so I tried to send a new email from one of my accounts to another, same result, I can type the message and then when I click on send, mail crashes and the apple screen pops up.

So then I decided to run onyx and clear out all my caches, crash reports etc etc and ran diskwarrior 3 afterwards as well which created an optimised boot directory and replaced the original. Still no luck.

I then moved com.apple.mail.plist and copied the mail folder to the desktop and restarted mail, and filled in all the appropriate details and that didn't fix the problem either

Any ideas ?

It appears I have fixed it :-)

The previous recipients list was corrupted so I deleted it all within Mail and now I can send emails again
