I want to backup my DVD's. What program would i use to do this. I used 'mactheripper" and "popcorn" but they seem to be a little shaky. I tried to copy Star Wars 1 and 2 and the first one would make mactheripper unexpectedly quit and the 2nd would not be workable in Popcorn....

What do I do.

I use DVDBackup to rip, DVD2OneX to compress, and Toast to burn... I wish there was something like DVDShrink on Mac... but saddly there isn't. For me this combo works just as good... though I have to pay more attention to it.

Mac The Ripper and Popcorn work perfectly for me each time, going on a dozen copies now.

In MTR, make sure you rip the whole disc, not just the main feature. Use Popcorn if you want to strip out parts of the DVD.

Handbrake is by far the best and easiest way.
