My K700i works fine with iSync and as a BT modem, and in AddressBook when you click the BT button it appears to connect to the phone. However, when you try and dial a number through AddressBook, nothing happens. Similarly, you can go through the actions for writing and sending an SMS and when you press send, the drop down sheet simply disappears upwards, never to be seen again - along with the contents of the SMS you'd just composed. Any ideas why this doesn't work? I don't even get an error message!

the dial number and SMS both work with my k700i

when you send a SMS you don't get any confirmation of it being sent and neither do you get a delivery report of it arriving. but it does go.

on the dial number, the phone bleeps a couple of times then dials the number.

i'm running OS X.3.7, Address book 3.1.2 (v321) and using a D-Link USB BT

not much help to you, but it does work.

Oh right - interesting because I thought it might be something to do with using a D-Link adapter. Maybe something to do with me using 10.2.8.

the SMS side of things defo worked in 10.2.8 for me.

i never use the dialling feature, but i'm sure i tried it out and it worked - but that would of been with a t68i, which was also used for the SMS in 10.2.8

what version of iSync are you using? mines 1.5 (v139)

if your version of iSync is the same as mine then i guess it's the OS that needs updating.

I just tried dialling with my K700i and it worked too, however I'm also on Panther.
