hi,
recently, i've transferred some Microsoft Word documents from one mac to another via a thumbdrive. But however, the icon of the document on the new mac changed from the usual Word icon to a black "unix executable" icon. and worse, i can't open the document! the error message is :_ "Word cannot open this document. The document might be in use or might not be a valid Word Document. " How???
Also, how to change back my document file from "unix executable" (some black icon) back to my word document???

However, some documents that i've transferred worked fine, only for some of them i've stated.
Can some kind soul please, please and please advise me in this? these documents are very important to me!
