Hello, I am a technology coordinator at a school, and I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any old logitech mouse drivers anywhere and if they would work with OS 9? I want to upgrade our teacher computers (old blue & white G3s) from the ball mouse to an optical, but the logitech web site only says they support OS X. The mouse I am looking to update has two buttons and a scroll wheel, I am not sure that all of the teachers will use these options, but other then Apple, you just can't find a 1 button optical mouse (especially as cheap as they have them at logitech, $9.99)
Any ideas?
Thanks

Just plug them in. The USB standard defines how mice should work, so they just will. You might not get scroll-wheel support in MacOS 9, but I think you will get the second mouse button. I am absolutely sure that you will get the first mouse button. The drivers are to map chords and to set mouse acceleration. They are not needed for simple usage.

Does the site below cover the type of mice you were looking to use?

The official name that Logitech gave the drivers is Mouseware. I remember that only because of that little pink mouse face that appeared when OS 8/9x loaded its extensions at startup
