I'll download a whole movie. IT says it's an hour long, and the file size is long and so is the time but when I play it the bar zooms across and it's only 7 seconds, this always happens, why?

Is there an easier way? This thing is kind of confusing.

You could use VLC to convert it into mp4 (in the File menu select Open File... then check Advanced Output and set mpeg-4 for file format and mp4v for codec). To remux the mpeg I guess you could try ffmpeg or MPEG Streamclip, but I have no idea if they will work, or change anything.

Thanks, I was about to ask how to convert a file with VLC, since there is no «save as» or «export» item in directy in the file menu.
