Can anyone recommend any of the three ad-blocking programs above?
I WAS using PithHelmet, but it stopped working properly on many websites I visit, and it also doesn't have an easy method of adding new filters on-the-go.
I tried NetSentry twice, but wasn't able to get it working properly.
Any comments on AdGate? [versus the other two]

I have found that Pithhelmit (even the newest fastest one) will actually slow down the website loading than if I had let 10x the amount of ads load themselves.

No mention of Adblock on Firefox? If you want on-the-go filters, I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better than Adblock. While I have it installed, I have to admit I don't use it. Ads just don't bug me that much just as long as they aren't popups.
Check it out, though, the Firefox Extensions page is at: http://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/
Also, the latest nightlies of Firefox have been spectacular. I have noticed several small things since the last nightly/point release that I tried several weeks ago, namely: scroll click support for opening links in tabs and better compatability with my university's portal system.
You can pick up the latest nightly build of Firefox here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o.../latest-trunk/

ADGate will KP your machine if you try to visit your own web site over Rendezvous (i.e. your site that resides in ~/Sites).

^ i started this thread awhile back about Adblock for Safari
I DEFINITELY think Adblock is the best ad-blocking solution out right now!!!! But it's only for Firefox, and I primarily use Safari
I just uninstalled PithHelmet.
