I have Illustrator 9 and Photoshop 6 for OS 9 and was wondering if I should sell them or just throw them away. What should I do?

Why not try selling them. You could get a cool $50 bux for them both, realize that people will often buy old software via the net so that they could just skimp on full payment of the program they really want and just buy the upgrade (far cheaper) for less.

If they are the full version vs. Upgrade version, you need to discs to install the upgrade versions everytime you reinstall or upgrade to the newest version.

You could always donate them to a school. A lot of small colleges are hardly up to speed on the latest and greatest and I'm sure they'd appreciate (or even need) some free software.

First you need to agree to a price (I know Duh)
then you need to figure out how to exchange funds, typically most people use Paypal, if you don't have one sign up, or people send a bank check/money order.

The seller doesn't ship the product out until the money is in hand, i.e., bank check cashed, personal check cleared, your notified that funds have been deposited into your paypal account. Because waiting for a check to clear or even receive it in the mail takes time most people prefer the faster turn around of paypal.

Either with Paypal, or I transfer the money and you send the apps when you've received the money. It involves a bit of trust on my side that you'll send the stuff, but since you've been around on this borad for ages I suppose it's ok. I would pay for shipping obviously.
