absolut78, make sure your professor knows that the software doesn't support this "course requirement" on your platform. It
should make a difference to him/her. If the functionality is a requirement of the course, then the school or professor should have done the research to find out that only the Windows client supports voice chat. All I had to do was use Yahoo's "Ask Yahoo! Help" function to get this information; it took me all of one minute to confirm that the Mac client doesn't support voice messaging.
A believe that there are other chat clients that do support voice chat on the Mac, and that also interface with Yahoo, but I haven't researched that subject yet. Maybe you could get extra credit for providing this "fix."
