I understand that my iDisk can't be browsed by a FTP client, is that right?

I was hoping to find a solution for browsing my iDisk that would be easy for me to do other than using the Finder in MacOSX or the iDisk Utility in XP. I am often on other OSs and wish to access my public folder to drop or pick up files... but I don't know how!

Any suggestions?

The key word is WebDAV.
Perhaps you find a client for the OS you use here?

I think all versions of Windows from Win 95 on support WebDAV. Open the Network, then double click on Web Folders.

To work with my iDisk I use Goliath. It does the work flawless, tip: once you have done the .mac connection you´ll found a 'Goliath Connection Document', maybe in your Documents´folder, feel free to addd it to your Dock so every time you want to get access to your iDisk, a clic on that icon and you are done.

Yea, in OSX and even in XP its not that big of a deal... but I use a system that runs Windows 98SE and its a pain there but found a WebDAV client that works... and I use a lab that runs Mandrake Linux...

I dump and gather a lot of files and wanted to start using my iDisk for this and FTP would be the simplest in my mind... but what do I know... anyway, the WebDAV situation seems to be working out pretty good...
