I am doing wrong.
I am trying to become "connectable" instead of the very unpopular "unconnectable." I know about all of the mutiple programs for connecting to the P2P networks. That isn't my problem. I have gone through all of the steps, opened all of the ports, tried all of the work arounds, but I STILL can not get through.
I think that the problem ultimately lies with my DSL router.
It was provided by my ISP (it is a DSLpipe by Lucent) and I can't access the damn thing through either Safari or IE. I have the ports open through the System Prefence panels. I believe that the router has a built in NAT function, but I can't access that either. I have done just about everything that I can think of and found out about on the net.
Can anyone give me any more ideas?
And if this question is "illegal", please forgive me..... I am acting out of desperation.
