Is there anything I can do if I downloaded a corrupt song from the iTMS? I've downloaded the song and it plays extremely slow, almost as if it was ripped incorrectly. Other songs I download the same night play fine. Do I have any options?
Just my $.02 :-)

You can delete the song and then have iTunes re-download it by selecting Advanced->Check For Purchased Music. That is assuming that the file ws messed up in transfer. If it is wrong on Apple's servers, then I bet Apple would love to hear about it so that it could be corrected.

Contact iTMS support about it.

Don't delete the song. I doubt that you can re-download it.

in your help window select iTunes Music Store Service and Support.

They are very fast and helpful with problems, in my experience.

This thinking is exactly wrong. You can download it as many times as you would like onto the authorized computers you have. The only limit is the number of authorized computers that you can have.

About a year ago, I downloaded an album and one song wouldn't play. I emailed apple and they credited my account, and I clicked on check for downloaded music, and it re-downloaded the song. They were very helpful.

There's some sort of confusion here. I know that the Check For Purchased Music command works--I've used it when music has been deleted. Can anyone explain the article posted by Apple?

I had a corrupt song once and also downloaded a George Carlin audiobook that would freeze up in certain parts. The iTMS help people were quite helpful in trying to solve the problem with the audiobook. I was able to download both again and the problems were solved.

What did you do exactly? I lost some music due to a bad backup, and went to see if I could download it again. I get this error:

Now that I think about it, I think I'm the one who's confused. I think that "Check for Purchased Music" will only download songs that have not yet been fully downloaded.
