I have been thinking of purchasing iLife05 primarily for the iPhoto upgrade. It just doesn't seem worth the $80. Would I not be better off purchasing Photoshop Elements? I enjoy making photo slideshows and have been proficient in doing so via iMovie. Is the new iPhoto that much better? All the other apps don't seem to have been upgraded as well. However, I don't use Garageband so cannot comment about it.
I do like the feature of adding movie clips in iPhoto.
It just seems so spendy for a small upgrade.
I don't need no stinkin' signature!

I'm in the same boat. I don't use iMovie (maybe once a year), iTunes is free, I don't have a DVD burner for iDVD... and I'm not musically inclined enough to use Garage Band.

So it's essentially $80 for iPhoto [for me... other users will obviously be getting a bargain]

That's 5% closer to a new system (with iLife included).
