I have 20 gigs of MP3s in my itunes library that I need to back up. Every single song has a star rating attached. I don't want to lose this information.

I know that I can move the entire library around and keep the settings, but I want to put these on 4 or 5 DVDs so I have a backup. Is there anyway to keep the ratings, date added and playcounts for each song?

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Simply back up the files "iTunes 4 Music Library" and "iTunes Music Library.xml" in ~/Music/iTunes"
