safari is overriding my standard & fixed-width font selection with helv-fractions. this makes a web page a bit more difficult to read. everything seems to be working fine in IE.
is there anyone else having issues? any ideas on how to fix this problem?

i think i figured it out. i had a few corrupted fonts in suitcase. after i fixed them, the problem was fixed.

...well not completely solved...

does anyone know if i have to use a CCS or if there is there a certain font family that will allow a web page to be viewed correctly in safari?

i am building a couple of pages but when i view them in safari the font becomes helv fractions. when viewed in IE it looks as it should.

What is your text encoding set to? (you can check in Safari under View>Text Encoding)
