Hello all;
I am one of those Windows users who has made the recent change to hop into mac, thanks to apple's new Mac Mini. I simply love it. It sits snuggly on top of my Alienware, but I keep the alien for playing WOW and other games, while on my Mac Mini, I simply work. And I love it. No more spyware, no more virii to worry about, just me and my work. Makes me more productive too.
I am a happy camper now.
That being said, I started porting most of my window apps into the mac mini. I am having problems configuring one of them, and here is where I hope you can help me. Quickbooks Pro 6.0 is giving me a small headache. There is almost NO Support for this version of quickbooks anywhere unless of course you pay $99 for some video. Its been horrible to work with importing and exporting to a windows machine... but i can live with that.
What I need help with is with the custom Forms. I know that when you go into the company settings, you pick forms, and you go into custom forms, it lets you edit some of the fields.
I have a form that i made for my invoices, that i use since I had the winblow version. The problem I am having is with the width of the columns. In the help of quickbooks it says I can measure the width of the columns using a decimal measure. When I try this, I get a blip error. Which means I cannot type 1.5 as a column width.
Thus when I have my form made, My first column shows up being like 3 inches wide, and the rest of my columns appear fine. How can I schrink that column in size? Can someone please help me? I have traid everything and looked for this everywhere and still cannto findany help for it. The quickbooks suppoort site sucks.
