I use gmail for my main email account. Any tips for using it on an iBook w/ Panther? Any other tools to download or customizations?

Can I get it to work with Panther's built-in mail app?

Thanks very much in advance for your help guys,

Chris

I haven't found any of the Mac gmail apps to be very useful. Personally, I just set it up in Entourage for new mail notifications. I like the Gmail Notifier from Google, but it's Windows only right now.

[edit] This one looks good

Yes, look here

Gmail also supports RSS feeds. So, you can use Firefox for Omniweb (if you use either of those browsers) to check your inbox via an RSS feed.

Personally I just use Mail.app via POP. Works well for me, and you can set Gmail (under settings on Gmail's website) to archive messages received in Mail by POP.
