When I add folders to my library, iTunes puts two copies of every song in -- one as the MP3 is named (artist - title.mp3) and one copy with just the title name.mp3.

What's going on?

hi

i had a similar problem a while ago, but then realized that in my album folder was a file called *.m3u (or so). it's a playlist file from anotehr app (like winmap) that itunes can read and import, therefore importing all files on the playlist and every (music) file in the folder. just delete the *.m3u file before you drag the folder into itunes and it'll work ok.
