hi... for some reason toast just hangs and wont fully launch, I dragged the folder from the CD to applications folder and then tryed to launch it from there and it bounces in the dock but no window will pop up. It wont force quit, activity monitor shows it up in red but its not using any CPU %.

Someone please help.

To start can you provide your system specs please. What OS, what version of Toast, any hacks installed, etc.

Have you repaired permissions and restarted? Does the problem exist for all users or just the one you are using?

Try deleting the Toast preference file, com.roxio.Toast.plist.

iMac G5 768mb ram 1.8ghz 10.3.8, its toast 6 Ti. No hacks no nothing.

I couldn't find the roxio pref thing in libary>pref>....

I've only tried it on my account and how do I repair premissions.

I've got Toast Ti 5 so the pref file may be titled something else. Do a search for Toast and/or Roxio and look for a plist file.

Didn't work....I found the .plist file and trashed it, emptyed the trash then tryed to open toast and did the same crap its been doing. so fusturating

Do a full cache cleaning/permissions repair. Does that take care of the problem?

I verifyed permissions and then restored permissions in disk utility and then restarted and toast did the same thing....
