Hey All

I'm running Safari 1.2.4 and I use two(2)different disks to Boot off of. I was download a file one one drive(My Home FireWire drive)and copied over the download file to my internal laptop drive(NOT BOOTED).

Double clicked it on my laptop, and Safari can't connect anymore(Not Throught Wireless(Airport)Wired(10/100)or Dial-up.

Error given

Safari can't connect to the server

Safari can’t open the page “http://livepage.apple.com/” because it could not connect to the server “livepage.apple.com”.

It Won't connect to any of my BookMarks...

I used Disk Utility to Repair Permissions but that DIDN'T Fix it...

Went back to the External Drive and the Safari in that BOOT Disk is also DEAD... Repaired Permissions and also the samething Can't find server... FireFox(1.0.1)connects fine. Also Shiira is DEAD(Can't connect).

HELP!!! This is my main download device(Safari)because FireFox Won't let me continue a download if I have to Turn-Off the computer.

Thanks!!!

Brad

Hey All

Well... I think I found out my Problem, my Proxy Server was down... I thought that when you set-up the Proxy server in System Prefs it acted on ALL Browsers, but from what I've encountered it Only works for Safari...

Back to Work...

I'm having a different Safari "problem", maybe someone else is as well.

It seems over the past few days suddenly I'm getting pop-up ads which I never got before?

I know that a few days ago there was a security update that was supposed to fix this maybe? I did that but I still have the pop-ups showing up despite my pop-up blocker being on.

Any one else having this issue?
