I haven't noticed this in other Safari threads, isn't anyone else inconvenienced? ...

Safari gives the option (in the print dialogue) to print *backgrounds* or not.

However, there seems to be *no* way to print headers ( as IE 5.2 Mac can) - or to turn *off* the printing of images. This is the only thing I miss about IE 5.2. (Firefox makes image-printing an option, but I don't experience FF as quite up to the speed & ease <for me> of Safari)

For my daily work this is awfully basic. Has anyone heard if TIGER Safari is moving toward such printing options?

I've been puzzling about this too, as I try to figure out which browser to make primary.

Off-topic, but connected in terms of future browser development. I notice that FireFox (with which I'm posting now) uses Courier as its font to fill out forms, whereas Safari uses some sans-serif I believe.
None of these browsers seems to let the user SELECT which font is used for forms... or have I missed something. Any sign of such options arriving in future Safari, etc.?

I don't know if its helpful to either of you, but I found a utility/script that added a print selection menu in the services menu. I generally just want to print a snippet of text from the web and this allows me to do just that. I'll try to find a link id someone is interested.

Well since you asked for it. I can't promise that this is the one I downloaded many months ago, but it does the same thing and sounds right. Here's a link
