hi everyone,

On my pc I currently use an ATI 9600xt video card with it's built-in svideo-i/o and the free application 'dscaler'. I use these to play my gamecube and ps2 games on my monitor and it works very well -- the quality is actually surprisingly good! I was able to dump my giant TV which I've never had the room for in this tiny NYC apartment...

I was wondering if something like this exists for the Mac? I've experimented with USB/Firewire 'tv converters' on my PC but all the ones I've tried introduce a 1/4 - 1/2 second delay in the video signal, which makes game playing completely impossible.

Has anyone discovered a software/hardware combination that handles deinterlacing/filtering in realtime on the CPU, such that there is no delay introduced into the video signal?

Thanks!
