I found this one and will tinker w/ it a bit tonight. Are there any other good freeware or open source tools available?

What good commercial tools are there?

Thanks very much,

OmniOutliner. Ver. 2.x comes with PowerBooks & PowerMacs, ver. 3.0 was just released. I've been using it daily for 2.5 years of law school, it works great for taking notes in class & preparing outlines for exams. It's commercial, but not too expensive, and you can demo it for free (demo can't work on large files)
