Hi
I was wondering if somebody could explain what 'number of seats' means, with reference to Omnigraffle? We are looking to use the trial license on our network for a couple of days, and need all users to be able to access it. Will the fact that number of seats says '2' mean that only two can access it? Or if everyboidy gets their own code, wiull it be fine?

It's likely that 2 seats means 2 people can use it at the same time, with that license code. If a 3rd person tries to launch it, it will refuse with an error dialog indicating the problem.
If everyone gets their own code, you'll be fine.
I might add, if you're thinking of buying 10 copies or something, you may want to just call the Omni Group and inquire about a volume license.

So, if I log onto the Omnigraaffle website and get hold of a product key, then a collegue does this, they will both recieve completly different keys?
Is this the case?
Also, I dont have access to a phone at this momnent, but does anyb ody know about volume licensing of Omnigraffle for the UK?
Thanks, James

Yes, I think the collegue would get a diferent key, but I'm not positive about that.
Just send Omnigroup an email - they are very responsive developers, (and I can only imagine would be even more responsive when a potentially large sale is at issue)

The short answer is that only two people will be able to access it - the daily trial licenses are primarily geared at helping individuals evaluate our products (and to help customers who find themselves needing to do something quickly on someone else's machine). If you need a broader trial, please contact us at sales@omnigroup.com.
Full details on our license restrictions are here:

Note that we are aware that there are some confusing aspects to our license management. We hope to alleviate this in the future; if you have any specific comments, please let us know.

P.S. Several of us Omni folk scan the forums here, but irregularly. Please don't assume that we will see any follow-up that you post to this forum.
