800mhz iMac 768MB ram and iDVD 2.1
Just started messing with iDVD. Created a slideshow using 6.8MB of pictures and a 2.4MB mp3. Things look OK on the preview. Am having problems burning the DVD. Put the disk in and name it as usual. Click the burn button in iDVD and it ejects the disk and ask me to insert the disk. I do so and it says preparing and then gives me something like a complete time of 11min. The first time I tried to burn it, got the spinning beachball while the burn button turned. Got the cursor back and the burn button happliy turned for 3 hours. Got tired of waiting and quit iDVD and found that behind the iDVD window was the window asking me to name the disk so all that time was wasted. Tried again with the same steps followed and the same result although I did not wait near as long.
What am I missing? Mac wants the disk named and iDVD will not leave the named disk in the machine.
