All of a sudden, recently safari has been extremely slow, what could have caused this? I've had my g5 for 6 months now and it has been running perfectly then randomly it started loading web pages very slowly. Is there a reason for this? I tried reseting it but nothing changed. Everything else runs via the internet speedy as ever.

I have just had the same experience with Safari being a tad slow. I deleted the prefs file for Safari and it was back up to par. Don't know why really.

Glad to see I'm not imagining things. Something's definitely different within the last week or two.

Have you tried cleaning out caches with Onyx, Panther Cache Cleaner, etc., including the Safari Icons folder?
