I've already done a forum search for help and found none.

With TurboTax 2004 running on a 10.3.8 box I'm trying to open last year's return which was generated with last year's TurboTax product BUT on a OS 9.2.1 machine. It sees the file but it's grey, i.e. not selectable. The file is fine under OS 9, and OS X sees the file as a TurboTax file when I 'Get Info'.

Does anyone have a method to open or import this old database file?

disregard, finally found a solution on the Intuit site, http://support.turbotax.com/turbotax/doc/0050001434

This is most absurd means of reading a previous year's app's output.
