I was so excited at the MacWorld Expo when I found out that Presto will be making PageManager for MacOS X! I used it in OS 9 to basically manage everything my scanner did and this is really cool app. However... it's going to be $89 and that's a little hard on my wallet at the time and I would be willing to find an alternative. The feature I really like most about PageManager is that it will let me take two scanned images and by simply dragging one on top of another, it combines them instantly to a multi-page document. This is really cool for emailing several pages to a friend, or faxing more than one page to a friend. Why our faxing program doesn't do this I have no idea. Is there another program that will do this even if it's shareware? If not I may just get it b/c it really is a great tool... You can also save the multi-page document as a PDF file... Really Cool!
Any advice on an alternative? Does Photoshop have this ability with it's image browser? i-photo doesn't work well as it won't print a photo at is's scanned size, but only at traditional photo sizes so you can't fax a document from it.
