I'm sorry for the inadvertent post in the wrong Forum this morning, problem persists though:
Quite recently I've started to notice when I open iTunes, I am finding various shared music libraries. I am curious as to where these would be coming from? This occurs at home on my cable modem connection, but I am sitting behind my D-link NAT router. I have fully administered the router to only allow my roomates and my computer onto the network (by MAC address). My log on my router shows no other computers connecting. I'm curious as to where these other shared libraries would be coming from? (and no, it's not my roomate). Just last night there were two different lists. Most lists have a person's name followed by "limewire". I don't use Limewire, nor have I ever installed it. I do use Acqlite and feel it could be related to this, but any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Detrius thank you for the reply as follows:
For what it's worth, I think "limewire" gives it away. It's someone on your local network that is using limewire.
The other option... are you sure your machine is on the correct network? If your roomate opens iTunes, do they see the shares too?

My question is...my machine is on the correct network, I can see my roomates shared library if he shares it, and he can see mine if I share it as well. When referencing the word network, that is everyone behind the router correct? It is only us. I wouldn't see others using the same cable internet provider would I?
Anyone?
