Hi all,
Sometimes when you download an app and open the .img, or even buy a CD from the store, the folder has some images inside there that, when put together, make up a nice picture. Under OS 9 it was done with placing images on empty folders and then placing the folders in such a way that it makes the image - like a puzzle. How is this done in OS X?

  • select a folder
  • go to "icon view"
  • View->Show View Options
  • Background:Picture
  • Select Picture
I think you might have to have the image as a hidden file in the directory if you are going to package it up onto a DMG, but that is simple enough. Then you just se the window size appropriately, and you are done.
