Hello,
need help,
when I type in 19-10, or 9-1 in excel, it alway automatically converts it into a date, how to I disable this?

Is the cell format set to general?

Excel automatically assumes that entering data that way is an indicator of date.

If you want the data to appear as you type it, then include the single quote ' at the beginning of the data
