I have been having this odd problem or Mail crashing when I send an email from my local network account (university). It does not always crash... it will run ok for a day or so and then all of the sudden sending an email from the one account will crash it. Other accounts it sends no problem, and only this one account causes it to crash (and only some of the time). Weird. Guess next time it happens I should send the crash log to Apple.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I'd try deleting mail.app's prefs, and, for good measure, repair permissions. That might do it. And now, i've never had the problem, as a general rule, on a healthy mac system, apps never crash.
