TaxCut overrides the printing and doesn't seem to allow printing to PDF. I've tried both printing and just a preview and both go direct to print. I'd like to review and save as PDF. Last year I had to send a copy to a financial planner and thought I could send PDF--no luck That is, 2003 and 2004 have same problem

Can you do this in TurboTax? Might be enough reason to switch.

Turbo Tax uses the standard print dialog box so you can print to PDF.

Another option is to use one of those free print to pdf utilities, they typically set themselves up as a printer so to an application your using a printer but in reality its creating a pdf. The full version of Adobe acrobat works that way.

Thanks. Print to PDF utilities didn't work either.

But I did find the answer by Googling (I think it took me to the TaxCut website which Help didn't) and the trick is to use the standard File>Print item by hand and not the Print shown on TaxCut (they use their own interface).

Next year TurboTax, although I read that buying it is as agravating as TaxCut

I've had pretty good luck with Turbo Tax, so I can't complain.
