Is anyone else experiencing the same weirdness I'm suffering...

I installed todays security patch like a good dweeb (happened to be in the office with lots of bandwidth today and I'll be on the road on dialup the rest of the week) and restarted when prompted... and all of a sudden forms/links in Safari has stopped working...

I can go directly to any page (google, the forums here etc) but as soon as I click on a button (to do a search) or a link (to read a forum) a big fat nothing happens...

Firefox and IE and still working fine so I can only suspect Safari/Webkit and todays patch....

Off to try repairing permissions (more for talismanic value than because I think it will help) and another restart to see if it helps. Can't find any other references to this problem yet so maybe it's just me !

I lied !

found similar experiences on http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/8282]MacUpdate. Trying clearing the browser cache now... hopefully I'll get back in as I'm not a huge Firefox fan !

Makes me wonder how much testing Apple did for this !

well,
followed all the suggestions and still stuck here in firefox

I want my Safari back ! Maybe they're only going to fix it in 10.4 so everyone has to upgrade !

Works fine for me after the security update.

Did you try trashing preferences, browser caches, history, etc.?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

yup - ran the full OnyX clean up, repaired permissions, rebooted etc
No luck.
Followed helpful hints from the MacUpdate.com comments above but...
No luck.
I realise this issue is probably impacting only a small percentage of Safari users but it's really annoying !
